And we’re only getting better!

It’s no secret that BambooHR’s human resource software is always improving, but it’s high time we tell you what we’ve been working on. There are a bunch of fun things to share, so sit back and relax!

Time Off Calendar
Approving time off for too many people on the same day might leave you short-handed. That’s why we added a calendar view of PTO requests. Scheduling just got a little bit easier. Check it out under Reports > Time Off Schedule.

Report Filters
Reporting is more powerful than ever! Next time your boss asks you for a report of all employees in Timbuktu making $10 -$15 an hour that go by the name of Harry, you’ll be ready.

Links
Some of our customers mentioned that the Links widget would be better if we added categories so you can separate your links to Farmville from legitimate sites used for business. Wait no more, your wish has been granted. :)

Custom Tables
This feature has been extremely well received. Track education, assets, skills and more! If you want to track many “things” that are similar, contact support@bamboohr.com to discuss your needs.

Permissions
Custom group users have a reason to celebrate: they are now able to see their employee self-service data. Hooray! All you need to do is edit the group and decide what kind of access those users will have when viewing their own data.

EEO-1 Report
For companies in multiple states or those that are tracking multiple entities, the new EEO-1 report can now be filtered to meet your needs.

Employee Stats Dashboard Widget
Is the Employment Status pie chart on the dashboard not working for you? This can be changed by clicking on the widget menu to select division, location, or department.

Miscellaneous Settings
For all of our friends outside the U.S., you now have the ability to change your currency, number, and date formats.

Help Section
Finally a home for help. We’re slowly growing our list of tips and articles on how to run with BambooHR and take advantage of all the time saving benefits. You can also post questions and submit suggestions, which in turn can be voted on as the most important need for your company. Please submit ideas and vote for your favorites so we can be sure to know which improvements and new features you are most excited about.
