The Problem
Before BambooHR, we were using lots of spreadsheets to track pretty much everything…names, addresses, new hire info, term dates and reasons, and everything else. We would have to access several sources of data many times a week.
It was annoying! It’s difficult to enter and pull information in so many different places. I got tired of dealing with getting information into so many places, and it just takes up time. Pulling up spreadsheets, getting the info, and exporting it takes more of your time than you think it would.
The Solution
BambooHR is just such an easy application to use. Everything is so clean and simple. Rather than having to pull up four different spreadsheets, all of my info is right there. It was really simple to get started.
I really like how easy it is to have your team help me. When I look at something and I have a suggestion I can just type it in send it to you. You guys are so fast at responding. It seems like anytime I have a suggestion you guys have already been working on it.
What is your favorite part of BambooHR?
Most recently, we had an employee who just had a baby and she’s on short-term disability. We keep receiving update letters from doctors and the insurance company. Instead of sending it to three different people who need that information, I just upload it to her file and they can get the status anytime without calling me. It’s so much more efficient and that’s my favorite part most recently.
Do you still use your old spreadsheets and will you ever use them again?
No and no! The HR administrative tasks are much less time consuming now and I have more time to do other more important things.
