BambooHR will share the collected information in order to respond to investigation, court orders, legal process, or to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, or situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of BambooHR's terms of service, or as otherwise required by law.
If BambooHR is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

BambooHR uses a technology called "cookies" to store session information. BambooHR may set and access BambooHR cookies on your computer, cookies are required to use the BambooHR service. As is true of most web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.
We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

BambooHR has received TRUSTe's Privacy Seal signifying that this privacy statement and our practices have been reviewed for compliance with the TRUSTe program viewable on the validation page available by clicking the TRUSTe seal.
The TRUSTe certification covers our collection, use and disclosure of information we collect through our website www.bamboohr.com and our service BambooHR and does not cover any information that is collected through our mobile applications. The use of information collected through our service shall be limited to the purpose of providing the service for which the Client has engaged BambooHR.

As part of our participation in the Safe Harbor Program, we have agreed to TRUSTe dispute resolution for disputes relating to our compliance with the Safe Harbor Privacy Framework. BambooHR collects information under the direction of its Clients, and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes.
We collect information for our clients, if you are an employee of one of our Clients and would no longer like to be involved with one of our Clients that use our service, please contact the Client that you interact with directly.
BambooHR may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the provisions in this Policy regarding notice and choice and the service agreements with our Clients.
BambooHR has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to the BambooHR’s Client (the data controller). The Client is able to remove the data without BambooHR’s involvement. However, if the Client requests BambooHR to remove the data, we will respond to their request within 30 business days.
BambooHR will retain personal data we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed to provide services to our Client. BambooHR will retain and use this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
