We’re a team, and we mean it. Are we competitive? Sure. Are we cutthroat, claw-your-way-to-the-top competitive? Nope, because the whole squad knows it feels better—and we perform better—when we’ve got each other’s backs. The camaraderie is real, and the in-depth training and mentorship help every sales team member succeed. In a recent (anonymous) survey, we all had to use one word to describe our team. The top five answers? “Amazing,” “awesome,” “open,” “collaborative,” and “driven.”
We aren’t HR software mercenaries closing the deal at any cost. We want happy, lifetime customers, so we ask the right questions, listen to every answer, and help plan their future needs. We want to be sure the tools we provide will meet and exceed their expectations, so they can be free to focus on what really matters: their people.
While we’re growing the company’s client list, we’re also growing as sales professionals. We have a dedicated sales training department to help us gain and polish B2B software sales skills, and we spend time developing other valuable business talents like EDGE methodology to make ourselves well-rounded career sales experts.
The best salespeople are HR consultants first—the sales part comes second. In order to step up to the consulting plate, we learn our own product back to front, then we dive deep into HR industry trends, disruptions, and discontents so we can help our customers increase their organizational impact and be more strategic.
Sales is much more than numbers on a scoreboard. The relationships we forge with customers and coworkers prove how success really happens: by prioritizing people. When we put people first, the numbers follow, and we create a whole community of loyal customers and supporters who bring in even more business.
The breadth of knowledge in this team is outstanding. Our goal at BambooHR is to set people free to do great work and that really flows into our sales team. Taking on more of a consultative closing role, this team really focuses on discovering the clients needs and pain points to see if BambooHR is the solution for them.
