Integration
How it works.
Discovery and Learning
All BambooHR customer account owners and admins have access to a Global Employment page located within product settings. This page provides a way to learn more about EOR and Contractor Management and access a cost calculator to get an estimate for how much it could cost to employ through EOR in one of the 90+ available countries.
Remote Account Set Up
After speaking with a BambooHR sales representative, a user can now begin set up by creating an account with Remote and activating the embedded integration all from right in BambooHR. Remote will pre-populate information from BambooHR to save time and eliminate the need for double data entry. An in-product onboarding experience will guide the user through each step of set up from creating an account with Remote to adding the first employees and/or contractors.
Hiring & Onboarding
After a Remote account is created and the integration is active, customers will have access to new features right inside existing BambooHR workflows. Create country-specific employment contracts for both employees and contractors, add profiles in BambooHR, and move straight into onboarding with the New Hire Packet and Onboarding Checklist.
Benefits (EOR Only)
As part of the EOR and country-specific employment contracts, admins can select which benefits they’d like to offer their new EOR employee from a list of options offered through Remote. The knowledge that the benefits provided are compliant in the new employee’s country gives employers peace of mind.
Employee Record
Workers hired through Employer of Record or Contractor Management will be easily identifiable with a new employee record identifier, which communicates the status of their employment contract with Remote.
Time Off (EOR Only)
New time off categories applicable to EOR employees will be available in BambooHR, and requests and approvals can be made in either platform.
