Automated Data Sync & COBRA Notifications

Seamless Employee Data Import – When a new employee is enrolled in employer-provided, COBRA-regulated benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental, Vision, Healthcare FSA, HSA, HRA), MyEnroll360 automatically pulls their BambooHR records into its system. This creates an employee profile and generates the COBRA Initial Rights Notice, ensuring timely compliance.

Automated COBRA Qualifying Event Processing – If an existing employee with COBRA-eligible benefits experiences a qualifying event (e.g., employment termination, transition from full-time to part-time, but not loss of coverage during Open Enrollment), MyEnroll360 pulls the necessary COBRA-related data from BambooHR and processes a COBRA Qualifying Event Notice (QEN).

Regulatory Compliance & Participant Support – The QEN, modeled after Department of Labor COBRA guidelines, notifies employees (and eligible dependents) of their COBRA continuation rights, including eligibility, enrollment requirements, and premium payment details. BAS handles the entire process, from QEN generation to mailing via USPS First Class Proof of Mailing service, and serves as your service agent, assisting employees and dependents with their COBRA continuation options—so you don’t have to.

Seamless Status Updates – New employee enrollments and existing employee and/or dependent coverage terminations in BambooHR automatically trigger COBRA notifications and eligibility tracking in BAS.

Real-Time Enrollment & Payment Tracking – COBRA elections, premium payments, and participant status updates are automatically reflected in your BambooHR records.

Reduced Manual Work – No need for duplicate data entry—BAS syncs employee status changes directly from BambooHR to keep records up to date.

How it works.

1. Submit a request from the BambooHR Marketplace.
From the BAS COBRA listing in the BambooHR Marketplace, click Request Information and submit the short interest form. Once received, the BAS team prepares your personalized COBRA quote based on your organization’s details.

2. Receive your personalized quote from BAS.
You’ll receive an email from BAS welcoming you and providing your personalized COBRA quote, along with two clear next steps:
(1) Begin Integration or (2) Book a Discussion with our COBRA team.

3. Choose your path and begin setup.

If you’re ready to move forward, click Begin Integration to start your BAS onboarding. If you’d like to talk through your quote first, select Book a Discussion to schedule time with our team. BAS will guide you through the Accept Quote & Begin Setup process and handle the onboarding from there.
