Automate communications to employees

Relevant changes in BambooHR data are monitored by Pyn and can automatically trigger a Slack, Microsoft Teams message, or Email to be sent to an employee or their manager. For example, an employee was promoted to manager in BambooHR - Pyn detects the change and automatically sends scheduled communications to the new manager and their manager as well.

Personalize communications for employees

Information sent to employees can be personalized automatically based on the recipient's demographic data recorded in BambooHR. Messages sent to employees can include or exclude certain content based on their location, department, employment status, and other data variables.

Send communications in the right timezone

Timing of outgoing messages can be based on the employee's location stored in BambooHR. When your employees receive communication in their flow of work at the right time (no more 3am notifications!) they’re more likely to absorb the information.

Keep distribution lists up-to-date, automatically

Distribution lists are always updated with the latest information in BambooHR. For example, if you want to send a message to a group of "All Managers in Australia," this distribution list is always up to date with the latest data in BambooHR.

Integration

How it Works?

As a Pyn customer, you can integrate with your BambooHR data through the “Integrations” page within Pyn’s platform. You’ll enter your BambooHR subdomain and click OK. You will then be taken to the BambooHR login screen to confirm the connection to Pyn. Once you’re confirmed, you’ll be redirected to Pyn and your integration is now active. You can start sending automated and personalized employee communications through Pyn, powered by changes in your BambooHR employee data.

Steps to Install

To install the Pyn integration for BambooHR, first log in to Pyn. Navigate to Integrations and select BambooHR and click the button that says "Connect."

Enter your BambooHR subdomain (<subdomain>.bamboohr.com) and click OK. You will then be taken to the BambooHR login screen. Log in to BambooHR. When BambooHR asks if you'd like to connect to Pyn, click Yes.

You will be redirected to Pyn and your integration is now active. Hooray, you are done!
