About Your Role

Give a general overview of what this person will do at your company. For example:

Our Academic Advisors work with a small caseload of students to help with academic planning, registration, and post-graduation plans. As a part of our team, you’ll monitor each student’s academic progress and standing, while troubleshooting academic problems and advising about school policies and procedures.

What You'll Do

  • Provide early intervention services to students identified as needing further assistance
  • Educate students about the graduation process and applicable deadlines

  • View and manage early warning flags through student and faculty outreach
  • Create academic success plans with students on academic probation
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other departments and positions, such as educators and administrators
  • Provide students and families with information related to career planning and additional educational opportunities
  • Effectively manage a caseload of students, including those from underserved communities
  • Coordinate and lead events and workshops for students
  • Recommend appropriate courses based on student interests and academic goals

What You'll Need to Get the Job Done
