About Your Role
As a Construction Site Manager, you'll lead our construction projects with a focus on collaboration and excellence. Your main responsibility is to oversee daily operations to ensure projects progress smoothly and align with our strategic goals. You’ll be instrumental in developing systems for efficient project execution and communication while partnering with senior management to further our objectives. As a leader, mentoring your team and managing performance will be key as you work to embody and promote our company's culture of innovation and support. What You'll Do
- Oversee the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring alignment with our financial and operational goals
- Collaborate with team members to make strategic project decisions
- Manage on-site activities, including worker coordination, materials logistics, and adherence to safety standards
- Forecast project cash flow and budgeting to ensure financial efficiency
- Conduct comprehensive project reviews for continuous improvement
- Analyze and report on project progress, financial status, and risk management
- Guide and mentor junior staff, enhancing their professional development
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and project deadlines
- Maintain meticulous fiscal records and project documentation
What You'll Need to Get the Job Done
- A bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in construction management or a similar leadership role
- Deep understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and legal regulations
- Strong team management skills to inspire and direct project teams
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for liaising with stakeholders
