About Your Role

If you have been waiting for your opportunity to get into the world of information security, then our Data Security Internship is the job for you! As a Data Security Intern at our company, you will primarily be responsible for examining large sets of data, looking for security issues. You will also perform administrative tasks to enable our security program and work on projects to make sure controls are in place and operating correctly. Being trained on the job will be a BIG part of this position. We want to enable our team with the skill sets and abilities to prepare them for roles with more responsibility- making this a great internship for a graduating college student or someone with an IT background who is looking to break into security. If you have a passion for technology, love problem solving, and want to develop new skills then this would be a great internship for you!
What You'll Do
List specific job responsibilities. For example:
- Work closely with our IT Security team to address security concerns and help with incident response
- Monitor security controls and analyze the impact of their logs using SIEM technology and scripting
- Review and improve security and IT controls to ensure they are up to date and fully applied
- Work with vulnerability assessment tools and manage the application of patches
What You'll Need to Get the Job Done

- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Information Security and are going into your senior year this fall
- Experience with Windows, OS X, and Linux is a plus

- You are available full-time (M-F 8-5 pm)
