About Your Role

Your role is twofold: you’ll lead critical, organizational, and administrative functions, and support students across a range of day-to-day needs. What You'll Do

University administrators develop and maintain a wide range of academic and administrative programs at our university. Specifically, you will:

  • Oversee all aspects of the student service administration
  • Create and manage departmental budgets
  • Act as a liaison between academic and non-academic staff
  • Support operations for financial aid programs, residential life, social programs, and student housing administration
  • Participate in curriculum development and ensure coordination across academic apartments
  • Participate in student admission protocols and student recruiting, including prospective student visits and tours
  • Provide counsel to students on their student and academic life within university guidelines
  • Manage schedules, meetings, and calendars across departments to ensure operational efficiency
  • Support staff development, including recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, and supervising university staff
  • Represent the university on committees and cross-departmental initiatives as needed/required
  • Manage a team, either direct or dotted line, including school directors, student housing directors, athletic directors, academic liaisons, and administrative staff
  • Support admission functions, including transcript preparations
  • Prepare all required reporting for government bodies and educational agencies, and oversee regulatory compliance
  • Stay ahead of educational trends and challenges facing universities, and make recommendations on potential changes to the university curriculum or student life
  • Support public relations efforts, including reporting and management of school rankings
  • Plan and budget for commencement ceremonies
  • Create and uphold a culture that honors and respects differences in socio-economic status, identity, disability, race, gender expression, religion, and learning differences
  • Uphold and ensure compliance with the school’s honor code
  • Embody our pillars, values, mission, and code of conduct through your words and actions, on and off campus
