Contracting Philosophy

These Terms of Service FAQs are for informational purposes only—they are not contractual or binding in nature. These FAQs should not be seen as a substitute for reading and understanding BambooHR’s Terms of Service. Please see section 17.9 of the Terms of Service for additional information.

Does BambooHR negotiate its Terms of Service or accept redlines?

BambooHR does not negotiate or accept redlines to our Terms of Service. We expect all customers to accept our standard online version. BambooHR operates a month-to-month subscription model for its services. With approximately 30,000 customers and hundreds more being added each month, BambooHR uses a standard Terms of Service so it can grow and scale its business. The benefits of that model are that you can cancel at any time and we automatically provide volume discounting to your account as you add more employees to the service. It also allows us to focus on making and supporting a great product, rather than negotiating and managing unique contractual arrangements with each customer.

Are there other terms that govern the use of BambooHR services? (1.1)

Any additional terms would depend on additional services you select (i.e., payroll services). Any additional terms for additional services would be presented to you separately as a part of those services.
