What if I don’t want my subscription to automatically renew? (5.1)

For Month-to-Month customers, given that there is no fixed contractual term to the service and to avoid any interruptions in your service, your subscription is set to auto-renew each month, but you are able to cancel at any time. For Extended Term customers, your subscription to the service will automatically renew for twelve (12) month terms upon the expiration of your initial term as specified in your Order Form; if you do not want your existing term to automatically renew, you must provide BambooHR a minimum of 30 days notice before the expiration of your existing Term.

What happens with my annual prepayment if I cancel part way through the prepayment? (5.2)

Month-to-Month Customers: BambooHR will refund any prepaid, unused months. There are no refunds or credits for partial months of service. If you received a discount for making an annual prepayment and you cancel part way through that prepayment, you will no longer qualify to receive that prepayment discount, and you will be charged the difference between the monthly and prepayment discount pricing for the months your subscription was active during the prepayment period. For example, if you prepay for 12 months from January to December and received a monthly discount for that prepayment but cancel in August such that you don’t use the service for the full prepayment period, you would be charged the difference between the monthly discount price and the normal monthly price for the months of January to August when you used the service.

Extended Term Customers: There will be no refunds of any payments made in advance except as otherwise provided in Section 2.3 of the Terms of Service.

Do your fees include any applicable taxes for your services? (5.3)

The ultimate responsibility for ensuring all applicable taxes and duties are remitted to relevant authorities rests with the customer. BambooHR would include itemized invoice line(s) for taxes when the Company concludes it has a responsibility to collect and remit taxes on the customer's behalf.

Can BambooHR change my pricing? (5.4)

Month-to-Month Customers: BambooHR reserves the right to adjust pricing with 60 days notice. If you do not agree with a price adjustment, you have the ability to cancel at any time. Given the month-to-month nature of our service you may do so without penalty. Price adjustments in month-to-month services are not uncommon for such a subscription model (e.g., streaming services). BambooHR will not change the price of any subscription package more than once in a calendar year.

Extended Term Customers: BambooHR may not change the price of your existing subscription during your current term. Upon renewal, BambooHR reserves the right, with 30 days notice, to adjust pricing. Please keep in mind that price changes may also occur during the term if you change employee headcount, add additional services, or otherwise modify your subscription.

Am I able to lock in my pricing for a set amount of time? (5.4)

BambooHR does not offer any price guarantee for Month-to-Month customers. However, Extended Term customers are guaranteed a lock price for the duration of their subscription term. Upon notice of at least 30 days before the expiration of an Extended Term Subscription, BambooHR may change the price for the next renewal term.
