Ask BambooHR® in BambooHR Slack App

This update introduces the integration of Ask BambooHR®, an AI assistant, into the BambooHR Slack app, providing seamless access to HR resources directly within your company’s Slack workspace.

If you enable Ask BambooHR® in BambooHR and install the BambooHR Slack app, your employees can ask HR-related questions in Slack. They will receive answers derived from HRIS data and policy documents uploaded in BambooHR, with the help of AI. If you have not installed the BambooHR app yet, you can use our help guide for app installation.

Additionally, you can add the BambooHR Slack app to the top navigation bar in your company’s workspace for everyone. This provides users with easier access to the AI assistant in a split-window view, keeping a chat open as they quickly ask questions without closing their current conversations. Please note that this new functionality requires reinstallation of the BambooHR Slack app if already installed.
