Automate Post-Payroll Retirement Data with Supported 401(k) Providers

Keeping retirement data in sync just got easier. BambooHR Payroll customers using supported 401(k) providers, Human Interest and 401GO, can now automate the delivery of finalized payroll data. This reduces manual file transfers, improves accuracy, and helps retirement contributions and loan repayments stay up to date without extra work.

What's new

Human Interest and 401GO providers can now securely retrieve finalized payroll data through BambooHR's retirement payroll APIs, eliminating the need for manual CSV uploads and file transfers. After payroll is finalized, providers can automatically access the payroll and year-to-date information needed to process retirement contributions, loan repayments, and employer match data.

The integration is designed to improve accuracy and simplify reconciliation by sharing finalized payroll data through secure, read-only APIs. Customers maintain control by explicitly authorizing their 401(k) provider to access payroll information..

What you can do

After connecting and authorizing your supported 401(k) provider, continue running payroll as usual. Once payroll is finalized, your provider automatically retrieves the payroll data needed to process retirement contributions and loan repayments, reducing manual work and helping speed reconciliation.
