Cancel Background Check Invitations Before Consent

Mistakes happen, and now they’re easier to fix. You can cancel a background check invitation before a candidate gives consent, helping you quickly correct errors and avoid unnecessary orders. This keeps your hiring process clean, accurate, and moving forward without extra back-and-forth.

When a background check is in a Consent Requested status, you will see the Cancel Invitation option within the Background Check section on the candidate’s profile.

After canceling, the status updates to show the invitation has been withdrawn, and you will have the option to request another background check if needed.
