Carrier Connection Eligibility by Plan Type

Some carrier connections are not available for every benefit plan type. Now, it is easier to know this before submitting a request. You will now see clear guidance when a carrier connection cannot be requested for unsupported plan types, helping reduce confusion, avoid unnecessary follow-up, and keep setup workflows moving smoothly.

Carrier connections cannot currently be requested for these plan types:

• Retirement
• HSA
• FSA
• Reimbursement
• Other

If all plans associated with a carrier fall into unsupported plan types:

• The Request Connection button is disabled.
• A tooltip explains why the connection cannot be requested.

If at least one supported plan type exists with a carrier, you can still request a connection as usual.
