Clarify Balances on Time Off Requests

Time off management just got a whole lot easier.

Here’s the scoop! Whenever an employee sends in a time off request, our system automatically includes their current leave balance in the message to the approver. If the requested time off might tip the employee's balance into the negative, the notification email will point this out. This allows the approver to make a well-informed decision, taking into account the employee's leave balance and the organization's leave policies.

Please note: all balances on the time off request notification email are accurate as of the date the request was submitted. The approver will not be renotified of previously approved requests even if new requests are made. So, if an employee gets approval for a future vacation because they have enough leave balance, and then they make another request before that vacation, the system won't alert the approver that this new request could make their already approved request go into a negative balance.
