Company Tax Settings in BambooHR

We're excited to announce the release of enhanced company tax settings in BambooHR, aimed at providing you with easier management of company-level tax changes.

With this release, we have brought these three company-level tax settings — Ohio Courtesy Withholding, Box 12 DD on W2s, and 1099 Print Options — into BambooHR, enabling you to effortlessly manage your preferences. Now, you can easily modify these tax settings without the need to engage with our Payroll Services team.

Making a change to company-level tax settings is easy; navigate to Taxes within the payroll section of Settings. Here you'll select the gear icon and “Company Tax Settings”.

Upon selecting the gear icon, a screen will appear allowing you to select how you'd like to manage company taxes for your employees broken out into two sections, State and Federal.

For now, we are only providing you with the ability to change Ohio Courtesy Withholding (if you are based in or have ‌employees in Ohio), Box 12 DD on W2s, and 1099 Print Options.
