Create Benefit Plan Years
We have added the ability for you to create benefit plan years in BambooHR to keep track of which benefit plans cover which time period. This helps you better organize your current benefit plans and get your new plans set up for open enrollment.
New plan year rules include:
- You must have at least one plan year set up. Plan years are typically 12 months, but can be any length.
- You can add and remove associated benefits plans within a plan year after it’s been created.
- When a plan year ends, a new plan year should start the next day.
- Each new enrollment window requires a plan year to be assigned to it.
