Customize Access to Hours Importer and API

We want to ensure that you can get all employee work hours into BambooHR easily and accurately for Payroll, regardless of how you’re tracking your employee time. The following updates make this easier for you:

• Now you have the ability to grant employees permission to use the Hours Importer and API in Custom Access Levels Settings.
• We have added permission checks for the Hours API before allowing any BambooHR user to add, edit or delete hours from BambooHR.

You can now manage which customers have access to the Hours Importer and Hours API when you create a New Custom Access Level group. You can find this setting under the new Time Tracking section there, even if you’re not a BambooHR Time Tracking customer.
