Data Parity: Add Plan to Plan Year

This update helps admins make sure all benefit plans are associated with a plan year before starting the enrollment process in BambooHR. Ensuring each plan is tied to an active or scheduled plan year makes the enrollment process efficient and reliable, reducing errors and incorrect benefits data.

A banner message will appear on the Plans tab to alert you of any plans that do not have an associated plan year. Clicking Add to Plan Year will open the plan year selector.

The dropdown menu groups existing plan years under two sections: "Active Plan Years" and "Scheduled Plan Years." You will be able to select a plan year with dates that align with the benefit plan's effective dates. Depending on the benefit plan setup, you may have the option to select multiple plan years. If you do not have any plan years in your account, you can create one from this page. Once you make your selection, simply click Add to Plan Year.
