Drug Tests for Post-Hires

Streamline your employee screening with expanded support for drug test background check packages. You can now order background check packages that include drug tests directly from an employee record, making it simpler to manage post-hire screening.

What's new

Background check packages that include drug tests are now available for employee records, not just pre-hire workflows. When ordering one of these packages for an employee, you'll select the reason for the drug test from a standardized list, helping ensure the appropriate information is included with the order. Existing background check packages that include drug tests automatically support this new workflow, so no additional configuration is required. The pre-employment label has also been removed from these packages to better reflect their broader use.

What you'll see

When you order a background check package with a drug test from an employee record, you'll be prompted to choose an order reason before submitting the request. Available reasons include common post-hire scenarios such as post-accident, reasonable suspicion, return to duty, annual or periodic testing, job transfer, promotion, and more.
