Duplicate Performance Review Cycles

Creating similar performance review cycles just got easier. You can now duplicate an existing review cycle and reuse its questions and ratings without starting from scratch. This update saves time and reduces repetitive setup when you need to make small changes for a new group of employees.

When you visit Settings > Performance > Review Cycles, you will see a new Duplicate button next to each existing review cycle. Selecting Duplicate creates a copy of that review cycle with all the same details, including custom questions and custom ratings.

After duplication, BambooHR saves the new review cycle as a draft and shows a confirmation banner. The copied review cycle appears in your list with “(Copy)” added to the name, making it easy to spot. You can then edit the duplicated review cycle just like any other review cycle; adjusting questions, ratings, or employee groups as needed.

This feature is available to users who already have access to the Performance tab in settings.
