Edit Remote Employee Hire Dates in BambooHR

Keeping hire dates accurate just got easier. If you use Global Employment Powered by Remote you can now edit Hire Dates for employees and contractors directly in BambooHR, making it easier to keep records aligned with your Remote data or your organization's needs.

What's new

Hire Dates are now editable for Global Employment employees and contractors. This gives you the flexibility to correct or update hire dates whenever needed, instead of being locked into the original synced value.

The integration also follows clearer sync behavior to help preserve accurate records. For new employees and contractors onboarded through Remote, the Hire Date syncs during setup, syncs one final time when employment first becomes active, and then no longer updates automatically. For converted employees and contractors, Hire Dates only update automatically before the worker becomes active, helping preserve historical hire dates once employment has started.
