Expanded Automated New Hire Rules

This update adds more options to the automated new hire enrollment window setup, providing you with more flexibility in determining when your new hires can begin electing their benefits. In addition to options of Immediately upon hire, After a waiting period, and It will be different per employee, the following two options are now available:

1. First of the month following a waiting period: With this option selected, the system will automatically create enrollment windows for your new hires at the start of the month following their waiting period.
2. Before hire date: If you select this option, your new hires can complete their benefit elections before they start at your company. This makes for a smoother onboarding experience for your new hires. (Please note that they will need to have access to their BambooHR account in order to start the enrollment process.)

This update also helps reduce the manual workload by creating automated enrollment windows for your new hires.
