Expanded Mercer Benchmarking: More Countries, Smarter Filters, and 2024 Data

We’ve made it easier to find high-quality compensation matches in BambooHR. You can now benchmark with 2024 Mercer compensation data, search across more countries, and narrow results with new filters for location, industry, and company size, so you spend less time hunting and more time deciding.

Here are the details:

• New countries in primary location: United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, and Mexico—alongside the existing United States and Canada.
• Richer secondary location options: Depending on the country, you can filter by region, state/province, and/or city to narrow down your market focus. (Example: Canada supports regions, provinces, and cities.)
• New filters for better matches:
  • Industries: Banking/Financial Services; Chemicals; Consumer Goods; Energy; Health Care Services; High Tech; Insurance/Reinsurance; Life Sciences; Logistics; Mining & Metals; Other Manufacturing; Other Non-Manufacturing; Retail & Wholesale; Services (Non-Financial); Transportation Equipment.
  • Company size: Choose either number of employees (e.g., “Less than 100,” “2000 or more”) or company revenue (e.g., “Less than 100 million,” “2.5 billion or more”)—one at a time.
• Current and clear data: Search uses Mercer’s 2024 dataset going forward, and we’ve added a Year column to both the Matched Job and Job Search tables so you can see exactly which year your benchmark reflects. (Existing saved benchmarks will display 2023 as the year.)
• Clear “no data” results: If Mercer doesn’t have enough responses for your exact filters, you’ll still see the job title with “—” for values, so you can broaden filters without wondering if the role exists.
