Improved Deduction Validation During Payroll Processing
We are improving how we update deductions when you are preparing payroll. If you are preparing for payroll and you have an open payroll in TRAX, you may need to update a benefit enrollment in BambooHR.
Previously when a benefit enrollment was edited in BambooHR during an open payroll, the payroll run would retain the outdated deduction data unless you synced data to TRAX and then manually updated the employee’s data in the open payroll or reset the open payroll.
Now if you edit a benefit enrollment in BambooHR and you sync data to TRAX, we will automatically update employee deductions in your open payroll to match the edit’s made in BambooHR. Not only will we update the deductions, but we will also notify you of the individual employee deduction updates when you continue your payroll run. Any outdated deduction amounts or ended deductions accepted in Remote Link will automatically be updated in your open payroll.
