Levels and Bands
The ability to effectively track job levels and salary bands is crucial to retaining employees in a growing organization.
With the Levels and Bands tool in BambooHR, your company now has the structure to easily track and manage job levels and salary bands for employees so your organization can establish clear and consistent frameworks for employee career progression and compensation, improve career path transparency, ensure fairness in compensation, and increase employee happiness.
To get started, just go to the Job Levels and Salary Bands tool in Settings under Compensation!
From there you can use the Levels and Bands Quick Start Wizard to:
- Define one or many job groups (like Development or Miami Staff)
- Create one or many Job Levels in a group (like Level 7 Software Engineer)
- Associate a Pay Bands with each Level (like $80k-100k)
- Then choose the amount of employees in your organization to associate with each job group!
Once you’ve finished the setup Wizard, your employees’ compensation information will appear on the Jobs tab if you’ve enabled it using access levels, allowing managers and other admins to easily access the information when they need it.
