Mobile App Passkeys

You can now use Passkeys to sign in to the BambooHR mobile app—a faster, easier login option that’s also built to be more secure than traditional passwords. Passkeys use your device’s built-in security—like fingerprint or face recognition, or a PIN—instead of a password. With this update, you can create, log in, and manage your passkey within the BambooHR mobile app.

Passkeys are an industry-standard sign-in method that uses cryptography (instead of a typed password) to help protect against phishing and other common login threats. With Passkeys, you can sign in with a simple confirmation using your device’s built-in security, like Face ID, Touch ID, or your device PIN.
