A Fresh New BambooHR Mobile Experience for iOS

The BambooHR mobile app has a fresh new look on iOS. With our Encore redesign and support for Apple’s Liquid Glass design, the app now offers a more modern, intuitive experience that feels consistent with the rest of BambooHR. Encore introduces streamlined navigation and refreshed layouts that make it easier for employees to find important information and complete everyday tasks from their phones. An updated experience for Android is coming soon.

What's new

The redesigned iOS app introduces:

● A refreshed Home screen with a new For You section that brings tasks, announcements, celebrations, surveys, open enrollment updates, and other notifications into one easy-to-browse experience
● A new More menu that provides a consistent place to access Ask BambooHR, Files, Hiring, Settings, and other available tools
● Updated entry points for Ask BambooHR, Employee Community, and Announcements
● Pay-period hours displayed directly within the My Time widget
● Streamlined layouts for profile information, pay stubs, compensation details, emergency contacts, and notes

The app also supports Apple’s Liquid Glass design on compatible iOS devices. Users with Liquid Glass enabled will notice subtle visual updates to navigation elements, including the app’s header and footer. These visual changes happen automatically and do not require any setup.

What you’ll see

Most BambooHR mobile functionality remains the same, but some tools and information now appear in different places.

Notifications and employee updates are organized into the new For You section, while the More menu gives the app room to grow without overcrowding the primary navigation. Employees will also see their three most recent pay stubs first, with the option to access their complete pay-stub history.

Depending on your organization’s BambooHR products and your individual permissions, the features available in the app may vary.

What you can do

Update the BambooHR mobile app from the Apple App Store to explore the redesigned experience. Open the app and use it as you normally would, the new design and Liquid Glass support will appear automatically on compatible devices.

These updates apply to the main BambooHR iOS app and do not affect the BambooHR Time Kiosk or BambooHR Hiring app. Android users can look forward to an updated mobile experience coming soon.
