More Flexibility When Hiring Contractors Through Remote

Hiring contractors through Remote just got more flexible. You can now access all Contractor Management options regardless of your default billing entity’s location, giving you more freedom to choose the right option when bringing on a contractor.

What's new

Contractor Management is no longer limited by the location of your default billing entity. When onboarding a contractor, all available Contractor Management pricing plans are now accessible, regardless of your billing entity location.

This means more customers can take advantage of BambooHR's full embedded Contractor Management experience.

What you'll see

When you select Hire Through Remote while adding a new employee and choose Contractor, you will no longer see the billing entity notice that previously appeared for customers outside supported locations. This update keeps the focus on choosing how you would like to hire and moving forward with contractor onboarding.

What you can do

When you are ready to onboard a contractor, select Hire Through Remote from the New Employee workflow. You can review the available Contractor Management options and choose the one that best fits your needs, without your default billing entity location limiting your choices.
