Needs Your Attention Widget (Beta)

Stay on top of important tasks without bouncing between pages. The new Needs Your Attention widget brings work that requires action from you to the top of your BambooHR home page, helping you keep approvals and other workflows moving.

This feature is currently in Beta. Functionality may change as development continues and may be removed from your account at any time without notice. Access may be limited to specific packages if it becomes generally available.

What's new

The Needs Your Attention widget appears at the top of your BambooHR home page when you have items waiting for your action. Requests are organized by type, making it easier to see what needs a decision and work through related items together. You can expand individual items to review key details right from the widget, including dates, time off balances, compensation changes, and other information relevant to your decision.

Admins and managers can choose which Needs Your Attention categories appear on their home page. From the Edit menu, open Needs Your Attention to toggle individual categories on or off and tailor the experience to the work that's most useful to see there.

Once you've completed everything, you'll see a confirmation message letting you know you’re all caught up. The widget remains hidden until there's something new that requires your attention, keeping your home page organized.
