New BambooHR App for Slack

For many companies, Slack is the collaboration hub that connects employees to the people and tools they work with every day. We are excited to announce that we have created our own BambooHR app for Slack. Now your employees can start using BambooHR’s most popular features such as planning time off and looking up co-workers without leaving Slack.

What does it do?

The following BambooHR actions are available to your employees in this first release, with more to be added over time:

• Check available time off balances
• Calculate future time off balances
• See who is out of office in the company (or by specific department, division, or location)
• Submit new time off requests
• Lookup employee information from the employee directory

How do I install it?

To get the app set up, simply go to your BambooHR Settings and you can find Slack in the Apps section:
