Paystub Notes Enhancements

We're excited to announce an enhancement to paystub notes, making them more flexible and efficient for payroll administrators!

Previously, managing paystub notes could be cumbersome. You were limited to a single note per employee, meaning global notes would override individual notes. Manually adding notes for frequent occurrences like pay changes or prorations was time-consuming and often confusing.

Our new update addresses these issues by providing more flexibility and automation:

Separated Notes: Global notes are now separate from individual employee notes. This means an employee can now have an individual note, a wage adjustment note, and a global note, providing comprehensive visibility.

Automatic Wage Adjustment Notes: We've added an option to automatically include notes with wage adjustments, such as salary prorations and pay changes. When submitting wages via the Salary Adjustments modal, you'll have the option to "Submit Wages & Add Note," which will automatically add a system note.

Improved Visibility: On the Payment Details page, wage adjustment notes and global notes will be displayed separately under the individual notes box. The paystub preview and PDF will also clearly show individual, wage adjustment, and global notes in a structured order.

• Improved Accuracy: The automated notes ensure consistency and accuracy in communication regarding wage adjustments, leading to fewer discrepancies and a more reliable payroll process.
