Retirement Savings Plans, Powered by Human Interest

BambooHR has partnered with Human Interest, a full-service 401(k) provider built for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), to make it easier to offer employees a retirement benefit. Administrators can now connect with Human Interest directly from BambooHR to find and purchase a retirement plan. Once the purchase is complete, the plan is automatically added to BambooHR and ready to manage.

What’s new

A new Retirement Savings area in BambooHR introduces administrators to BambooHR Retirement Savings and connects them with Human Interest, where they can explore available retirement plan options and complete their purchase. Once the transaction is done, BambooHR automatically adds the plan to the Benefits tab—no manual setup required. For customers using BambooHR Payroll, contribution data syncs via API so payroll deductions stay current without extra file work.

What you can do

Access Retirement Savings under Settings to explore plan options and start the setup flow. After completing the purchase in Human Interest, return to BambooHR to review the plan and navigate directly to Human Interest via single sign-on (SSO) for contribution and investment management.

Available to all U.S.-based BambooHR customers. BambooHR Payroll and Benefits Administration are not required.
