Salary Proration in BambooHR Payroll

In a perfect world, all new or terminated employees would align with your payroll run. We know that isn't the case. Luckily, BambooHR Payroll makes it easier than ever to adjust your employee's salary on a one-time basis right from your payroll run.

Once you’ve started your payroll run, you will notice a New Hire or Termination banner on any employees that match that description during this pay period. You will also see the salary proration banner if the employee is paid a salary. Simply click Prorate Wages to adjust their hours accordingly.
