Status Details for Background Checks

Get clearer visibility into background checks while they’re still in progress. New status details make it easier to understand what’s complete, what’s still processing, and when you can expect the report, without needing to contact support for an update.

What's new

For background checks with a Processing status, you can now select Check Status to see more detail about each check included in the package. The details show progress across individual checks, such as how many courts have been researched or how many employment verifications are complete, along with helpful context when something is still outstanding.

The background check card also displays the current ETA provided by Turn, giving you a more accurate timeframe for when the report is expected to be ready.

After selecting Check Status, the Background Check Details window separates completed items from checks that are still processing and provides status information for each one. This can help you quickly identify where a background check stands and whether an outstanding step is keeping the report in progress.
