Sync Additional Employee Data Fields to Remote

We expanded the Remote integration to sync more core employee fields in BambooHR. This update reduces duplicate data entry and helps ensure that employee information stays accurate and consistent across systems. You can now rely on a more complete and reliable data flow between Remote and BambooHR.

This update adds syncing support for the following employee data fields between Remote and BambooHR. All synced fields remain locked in BambooHR, and any updates must be made in Remote, where they will automatically sync back.

• Ethnicity
• Marital Status
• Mobile Phone
• National Identification Number (NIN)
• Social Insurance Number (SIN)
• Social Security Number (SSN)
• Postal County
• Province
• Preferred Name
• Second Surname

If BambooHR contains different information from Remote for any newly synced field, Remote becomes the source of truth. When the employee’s next sync occurs, BambooHR will update to match Remote.
