Time Off Updates: Schedule Policy Edits and More
We continue investing in our ever-popular Time Off feature, and we have three exciting updates, just in time for the holiday season:
Schedule Policy Edits
Editing your existing Time Off policies is now more flexible. Now you can choose when a policy edit goes into effect. The change can be immediate like before, or you can select a future or past date for the change. For example, suppose you want your policy change to go into effect on January 1st. In that case, you can make your edits before going on your Christmas vacation, and schedule them to take effect on January 1 while you are enjoying time with family and friends!
Track Policy Edits
We now keep a record of all edits made to a policy. We track who made the edit, when, and what was edited. This information gives your team needed visibility and accountability, and will help you find and fix errors in your policy setup.
Policy Quick Assignments
To make assigning new hires to Time Off policies faster for you, we are adding a new Quick Assign pop up into the process. There are now two policy assignment popups: the existing one, and a new Quick Assign option. This is when you’ll encounter each:
- Current popup: This is displayed if the employee is already assigned to one or more policies.
- New Quick Assign popup: This is displayed if the employee is not assigned to any policies.
