To better understand the Great Resignation, BambooHR surveyed over 2,000 U.S. adults who were employed at some point in the last two years, asking them to share their feelings about work, future career prospects, unemployment, and what they expect from employers.
What we found is that people have taken a step back and examined what really matters in their lives—growth, purpose, balance, and stability. It’s this deep shift by workers to put their core values at the top of their priorities that’s the hidden undercurrent of the Great Resignation.
