Integration

How it works

Once connected, Virvell monitors your BambooHR hiring pipeline for applicants reaching stages you've configured to trigger screening. When a candidate hits a trigger stage, Virvell automatically launches the appropriate screening step — an AI voice pre-screen, a voice AI reference check, or a background verification — based on your settings.

As each screening completes, Virvell writes the results back into BambooHR: a summary comment is posted to the applicant record, and the applicant's status is advanced according to your stage mapping. Recruiters see screening progress and outcomes directly inside BambooHR without switching tools.

Behind the scenes, Virvell reads applicant and job data through the BambooHR API and posts results back through the same authenticated connection. All data is mapped against the role's requirements so that the screening output is tied to what the position actually calls for. A human reviews every result — Virvell does not auto-reject, score, or rank candidates.

How to Install:

1. From your Virvell account, go to Settings and select Integrations.

2. Choose BambooHR and authorize the connection. You'll be redirected to BambooHR to grant access, then returned to Virvell once the connection is established.

3. In Virvell, map your BambooHR hiring stages to the screening actions you want to automate — for example, trigger a pre-screen when a candidate reaches "Phone Screen," or a reference check at "Final Interview."

4. Configure how results should be written back, including which BambooHR status each screening outcome should set.

5. Save your settings. Virvell will begin monitoring your pipeline and running screenings automatically as candidates reach your configured stages.

Setup takes only a few minutes, and your Virvell team can assist with stage mapping during onboarding.
