Katy Huston - Keynote Speaker
Katy Huston serves as Senior Manager of HR Consulting Services at BambooHR, leading teams that help organizations navigate complex HR challenges. With nearly two decades of experience, she’s known for her practical, engaging approach to compliance, benefits, and leave management and her passion for developing confident, capable HR leaders.
David Simmons - HR practitioner
David Simmons is a senior HR leader, speaker, and strategist with a forward-thinking approach to the people profession. As Senior People Business Partner at Bio-Techne, he leads the San Jose site HR function and supports global commercial and legal teams, driving organizational design, performance management, coaching, and a company-wide belonging strategy. David partners closely with executives to align talent strategy with business outcomes and strengthen culture and performance. His background spans Amazon operations and HR roles across multiple regions. He also serves as Board Secretary for Oakland School for the Arts and Conference Chair for SHRM NorCal.
