No. Expert Services extends the team you already have. Your expert works inside your BambooHR account alongside your team, taking on the decisions you'd rather not make alone and the work there isn't capacity for. You keep ownership, approval, and full visibility over everything.
How is this different from BambooHR Support?
Support answers questions about how BambooHR works, and it's included with your account. Expert Services takes on the judgment calls and the work itself, with a named expert who knows both HR strategy and how your account is set up. Support helps you use the product. An expert helps you decide
Can I bring in an expert for just one project?
Yes. Technical Services projects are typically scoped one at a time. HR Consulting works as an ongoing partnership, though it can start with a single diagnostic. Managed Payroll is an ongoing service. Your specialist will recommend the right shape during discovery, and you approve the scope before work begins.
Who will I be working with?
A BambooHR employee, not a contractor or partner firm. Our consultants average more than 10 years in HR, hold credentials including PHR, SHRM, and MBA, and work in BambooHR every day, so they start knowing how your account is built.
Are BambooHR Expert Services offerings available to all customers?
Yes, with one exception. HR Consulting and Technical Services are available to all BambooHR customers. Managed Payroll is available for US-based employees only.
